While a majority of Cuban Jews live in Havana, others live in smaller communities around the island including Camaguey, Santiago, Guantanamo, and Sancti Spiritus. These communities have unique needs, including medicine, food and clothing and educational and other materials that can link them with Cuban Jews and the diaspora. JCC has worked with the Jewish communities in western Cuba (including Santa Clara) and eastern Cuba (Santiago and Guantanamo) to provide medicine, Judaica, food, and general aid to community members.
